In the 5-year Ardbeg the peat flavor is never excessive and over the top, its taste on the palate is naturally sweet. Ardbeg is a whiskey with a perfect balance.

Ardbeg Wee Beastie whiskey aged 5 years, however, does not use cold filtration and in fact it is bottled at a higher alcohol content, 47.4 degrees, thus preserving its unique flavor and at the same time adding body and greater length in the mouth.

Tasting Notes:

Appearance: Ardbeg Wee Beastie whiskey is straw-colored.

Aroma: The nose is a powerful explosion of peat smoke, notes of cold ash and pine resin, followed by aromas of vanilla, grilled pineapple and green grass with hints of honey.

Taste: On the palate it is beautifully rich despite its young age, we have notes of black pepper and phenolic notes, BBQ meat and ash then surprisingly chocolate and anise, balsamic.

Final: Warm, intense, enveloping. it explodes with lively exuberance and leaves a pleasant and long smoky and peaty persistence, with notes of espresso, return of pepper and malt.
