Bimber Single malt ex-bourbon cask Italy Edition 4 yo is a precious limited edition of only 214 bottles from the young English distillery.

You have already read that English and non-Scottish distillery, it is in fact a start-up founded by enthusiasts of Polish origins, whose link with whiskey dates back to three generations before when the grandfather of the master distiller produced his own distillate, called Moonshine which in Polish, it is translated with Bimber.

The passion was then handed down to Darius Plazewski from a young age, and blossomed in 2015 when he, together with Ewelina, founded the distillery in London after immigrating there in 2003.

The Bimber Single malt ex-bourbon cask Italy Edition is a single malt whiskey aged for 4 years in cask # 66.

Distilled in 2016 and bottled on May 6, 2020 at the natural grade of 58.8% in only 214 examples.

All the bottles were numbered one by one by hand, but, in all the examples, the number of the tube does not correspond to the number of the bottle.

Tasting Notes:

Color: antique gold.

Aroma: Vanilla ice cream, with a sprinkle of green apple and citrus peel. Warm butter, cake dough, ginger and hints of jasmine.

Palate: Very intense, banana, coconut, ripe apples and almond paste. Fresh barley, artisan lemonade.

Final: Long, persistent, yellow fruit, butter and vanilla.
