The shape and style of Gabriele Dal Fiume's pipes range from classic to freehand.

Dal Fiume is often inspired by the movements of fish in the water and the movements of the sea and nature in general.

His logo was born from the union between the spirals of the Nautilus and the perfection of the egg, a symbol of fertility.

The line of pipes called delfino is the premium line, High grade by Gabriele dal Fiume.

Gabriele personally selects the briar blocks, which he buys in Liguria from Mimmo Romeo and in Tuscany.

The briar blocks are left to dry in the air in the workshop where Gabriele Dal Fiume periodically checks the seasoning, checking the color and weight.

No block is used before 10 years of aging.

This is why his pipes are very light and the smoke is dry.

All Gabriele Dal Fiume pipes are hand-sculpted and the hole in the brazier and stem are made manually with extreme precision.

Pipe mouthpieces are hand crafted from high quality ebonite or cumberland, often fitted with a hardwood or other exotic wood ring.

Depending on the design of the briar and the creative mood, Gabriele creates smooth, explosive, rustic pipes or any combination that serves to make the pipe artistically unique.

Here we have a light briar pipe in the shape of a small sphere from the Delfino line.

The size is particular, a freehand shape recalls the classic straight Apple shape, but the light Japanese bamboo torch makes it unique.

The pipe is small, and the decidedly original shape and aesthetics follow the grain of the light briar.

The contrast between the veined briar and the light Japanese bamboo and the mouthpiece in marbled cumberland is very nice.

The finish is made with carnauba wax and enhances the quality of the light briar.

The pores of the bamboo are closed with drops of acrylic material that form small crowns.

Gabriele Dal Fiume annually produces only 30 maximum 40 briar pipes, all unique pieces.

Each Gabriele pipe is a unique and unrepeatable piece and the photos you see portray this exclusive pipe, the same, once purchased, will be removed from the catalog.
