A particular, elegant Brebbia pipe from the MPB 2010 series, curved egg shape with rusticated rock briar finish.
Note the particular stand up egg shape and the curves that the craftsman created with the mouthpiece and the torch.
The skill of the Brebbia artisans can be seen in the torch hole, a hole that makes a curve to connect to the pipe chimney.
This means that the craftsman worked with a soft drill bit, flexing it to pierce the briar making a continuous curve.
The historic Lombard Manifatture Pipe Brebbia.
The factory was born around a hydroelectric plant, one of the first to be built in Italy in 1890.
In 1953 Enea Buzzi took over the ownership of the Pipe di Brebbia which is still in the family.
In 1956 the first characteristic lozenge was created which was then full and bore the MPB (Manifatture Pipe Brebbia) brand in relief.
Brebbia pipes, made personally and exclusively by hand, are the result of a long and patient process.
Characteristic of Brebbia pipes is the classic shape, balance and practicality.
Classic or modern, they are carved in the most selected and precious briar.
Very light and comfortable to handle.
The finish of the rustic briar, called rock, also gives brightness and character to the classic curved egg shape.
Note the large, deep fireplace also suitable for Latakia tobaccos and Balkan mixture.
Each Brebbia pipe is a unique and unrepeatable piece and the photos you see portray this exclusive pipe, the same, once purchased, will be removed from the catalog.
If you need more detailed photos, we will be happy to send them to you.
