This single malt KILCHOMAN PX SHERRY CASK release 2023 is a limited edition, aged for 5 years in Sherry Px casks and bottled at the full strength of 50% vol.

The Kilchoman PX Sherry Cask is a single malt peated Scotch whisky without age definition aged in 33 ex-sherry casks from the Spanish winery Bodega Miguel Martin.

The excellent Kilchoman distillate is a limited edition of 33 fresh sherry butts and 9 of which are aged entirely in ex-Px sherry casks while 24 casks are finished for a period of 12 to 18 months in ex-sherry casks.

This ageing method serves to balance the sweetness, the sugars of the ex-sherry casks, creating an exceptional whisky!

This whisky was then bottled in a limited edition of 23,000 bottles at the strength of 50% vol. without being cold filtered and without adding colorants.

On the nose it is peaty with notes of fruit and spices, it is rich and deep, it perfectly combines the flavors of sherry with those of peat and spices.

The finish is long, sweet and persistent, balanced.

Tasting Notes:

Aroma: Notes of peat and jam, white fruit jam, peaches, ripe fruit.
