The "Quintessentia" is an Amaro that comes from an ancient recipe, elaborated in 1933 by Antonio Nonino, founder of the distillers family and in the Amaro Ninino 24 months reserve it is aged in small oak barrels.
Antonio was in fact passionate about the typical Friulian traditions, in which herbal infusions have always played an important role.
He then decided to try his hand at the production of an Amaro, whose recipe has been revived by the current generation of the family since 1992.
Thus was born the Amaro Nonino Quintessentia Riserva 24 Months, a liqueur in which sweetness and bitter flavors blend together in harmony, reserving a centered and linear tasting experience.
The "Quintessentia" Riserva 24 months is an Amaro that comes from a careful selection of herbs made by the Nonino team, one of the most famous Italian distillers.
The herbs, once chosen, are infused in grape brandy, made from very fresh pomace.
The distillation follows artisanal procedures, using the discontinuous method, using a steamed copper alembic.
Once the distillation is finished, the heads and tails are "cut", isolating in the heart the best of the perfumes extracted during processing.
It then continues with the refinement phase, in which the Amaro "Quintessentia" ages 24 months both in barrique and in small wooden barrels, until the bottling and marketing procedures are started.
The Amaro "Quintessentia" reserve 24 months is announced to the eye with a color that recalls the hue of amber, with a beautiful brightness.
