A new version of the classic Macallan 18-year-old double cask whisky.

The Macallan 18 Years Old Double Cask is a single malt Scotch whisky aged for at least 18 years in a combination of casks.

The 18-year-old is part of the Double Cask series, the result of years of painstaking research by Macallan into the best woods for maturing whisky.

At the discretion of the Master Distiller, European ex-sherry and American ex-sherry casks are used; no ex-bourbon is used; the aging is entirely sherry.

The Macallan 18 Years Old Double Cask Single Malt Scotch Whisky is distilled at the new distillery and after 18 years of aging, it is bottled at full strength.

The Macallan Single Malt Scotch Whisky is delicious when drunk neat, and when diluted with water, it is characterized by

lingering notes of vanilla, citrus, and honey, complemented by deep notes of tobacco and red fruit.

Tasting Notes:

Color: Pale golden yellow.

Aroma: Delicate notes of sherry appear on the nose, with sweet aromas of toffee and honey. Hints of lemon and citrus are present.

Palate: The Macallan 18 Years Old Double Cask is initially spicy and spicy, with tobacco, then reveals notes of pear, citrus, and milk chocolate.

The Macallan 18 Years Old Double Cask pairs well with a wonderful cigar. For those who enjoy a slow smoke, we recommend pairing it with a pure Virginia tobacco.

It pairs well with dark chocolate, caramel or nut-based desserts, aged cheeses, and smoked grilled meats.

Excellent as a contemplative sip after a meal.
