Full Grade Finlaggan Cask Strength is a single malt created by The Vintage Malt Whiskey Co., a Scottish merchant who decided to purchase some barrels from an Isle of Islay distillery and bottle them under their own name.

The distillery, as well as the age of aging, are not indicated and remain a real mystery.

In this case the aging is in small batches, refinement that perfectly oxygenates the whiskey giving it more full-bodied and soft hints.

The problem of defining the origin of these malts is deeply felt among experts because the Finlaggan product is exceptional.

Finlaggan Cask Strength is a single malt whiskey that comes from one of the Isle of Islay distilleries, the distillery is not disclosed.

But one thing is certain, if you like Islay's classic peaty malts you might discover a little gem.

Tasting Notes:

Color: Straw yellow

Aroma: salty notes, sea notes, salty notes with a touch of peat smoke, citrus and vanilla.

Taste: There is a good intensity of peat followed by notes of caramel, black pepper.
