Aged in oak barrels, it gives an elegant and extremely rich sip.

Marsala Superiore "Riserva Storica 1995" is the result of a selected blend of wines from Grillo and Catarratto grapes, it has been a jealously guarded secret for years.

With a bright color with amber reflections, it has intense and complex aromas of apricot, dates and spices.

Full and enveloping on the palate, with traces of caramel and bitter almonds, it has a very persistent finish.

Served fresh, perfect with fresh cheese and anchovy bruschetta, fruit tarts or almond sweets.

A great vintage, 1995, for Sicily characterized by exceptional climatic conditions especially for the grillo grapes.

A warm winter followed by a hot summer, with very dry winds, allowed a harmonious development of the phenological phases.

The few rains in early September allowed the ripening process to take place almost perfectly and the grapes harvested in late September were opulent in sugars and aromas.
