The Marsala Superiore Vergine Riserva 1995 DOC by Vito Curatolo Arini, with a soft and velvety taste, immediately evokes memories that accompany an imaginary journey to Sicily at the end of the 19th century.

Aged in French oak barrels, it gives an elegant and extremely rich sip.

Marsala Superiore Riserva Vergine 1995 is the result of the pressing of only Grillo grapes, coming from selected vineyards.

A great vintage, 1995, for Sicily characterized by exceptional climatic conditions especially for the grillo grapes.

A warm winter followed by a hot summer, with very dry winds, allowed a harmonious development of the phenological phases.

The few rains in early September allowed the ripening process to take place almost perfectly and the grapes harvested in late September were opulent in sugars and aromas.

Amber in color with intense aromas of tobacco, coconut, toasted bread, apricot preserves, honey, vanilla and licorice, all supported by an elegant acidity and a dry, salty and long finish. Serve it chilled for a refined aperitif, try accompanying it with cold cuts and sausages, smoked fish appetizers or aged cheeses.

Tasting Notes:

Color: Topaz with warm amber reflections.

Nose: Intense aromas of coconut, vanilla, tobacco, toast, apricot preserve, honey and licorice.

Palate: Excellent acidity, dry, savory and long finish.
