Mastiha tree resin forms the basis of this liqueur.

A completely one-of-a-kind Greek distillate, Masthia Skinos is born from the distillation of mastic, a resin which, in this specific case, comes from the island of Chios and which is considered here a traditional product, already used in ancient times.

The trees are engraved during the summer, in order to allow the resin to slide on the trunk and solidify, after which the mastic is collected and infused with alcohol and then carefully distilled in ancient copper stills in a discontinuous cycle and, subsequently, added with sugar syrup to correct the strong and bitter trait.

With powerful digestive properties, Masthia Skinos is undoubtedly an out of the ordinary distillate, perfect for the most curious palates and always looking for different flavors!

Tasting Notes:

Color: Colorless and slightly opaque.

Aromas: it has an inexorable nose of balsamic and vegetal tones, pine and resin, pine nuts and Mediterranean scrub.

Taste: The 'green' mouth, just like the nose, follows a well-designed path that starts from the sweet to the mentholated, through a profound balance that fascinates and satisfies.

Long balsamic persistence that lasts for several seconds after swallowing.
