Rhum Rhum Liberation 2020 is the Pure Single Agricole Rhum produced starting from an ancient variety of sugar cane, Rouge B47.259, which has almost disappeared from the Antilles.

The name "Liberation" refers to the rediscovered freedom of rum from the barrel and it is the year of bottling that refers to the dating that appears on the label.

Rhum Rhum Libération 2020 was produced through long fermentation and batch distillation in small copper still bain-marie.

Liberation 2020 follows the tradition of Pure Single Agricole Rume that is double distillation in copper alembic in a bain-marie and on-site aging for at least three years which in this edition, due to internal corporate disruptions, bureaucracy and Covid-19 have become almost 10 years.

Distilled at the turn of 2011 and 2012, it rested for a long time in small barrels in barrels that contained a sweet white Bordeaux and a dry white Burgundy, and in ex-bourbon barrels.

The long refinement and the care dedicated by the master distiller Capovilla and the master refiner Gregorio have made this product unique, perfect, the best pure rum ever tasted.

Rhum Rhum Liberation 2020 is the result of aging, of the Rhum Rhum PMG experiments started in 2007, using different types of French and American noble wood barrels.

Finished in barrels previously used for French white wines, this rum is expressed with powerful notes and richness of aromas, marked by notes of wood, sugar cane and ripe white fruit.

The production, through the Muller stills directed by Capovilla, has always created the best agricultural rums of Maria Galante, full of aromas and with intense and persistent notes on the palate.
