

Habitation Velier, the House of Pure Single Rum, the world's only range of Pure Single Rum from different distilleries selected by Luca Gargano based on the distillation system.
The reason for the project, however, is much more than merely commercial: the Habitation Velier range was born with a didactic vocation to enhance the artisanal distillations and the art and technique of the distiller.
Pure Single Rum was born from the classification launched by Luca Gargano and then disclosed together with the distiller Richard Seale, who distinguishes rums by distillation method and therefore with an objective identification.
Habitation Velier Takamaka white is the first edition of a Pure Single Rum from the distillery Founded in 2002 by Richard and Bernard d'Offray, the Takamaka distillery is located in La Plaine St Andre on the island of Mahé, Seychelles, and the rum advocate Luca Gargano.
Usually this distillery produces Single Blended and has a very artisanal rum production.
Sugar cane is grown by about forty independent growers in Mahé, a small cooperative of 40 independent growers cultivates some plots on the hills, in a remote and pesticide-free area.
Habitation Velier Takamaka White is produced with a 3/5 day fermentation process, using proprietary yeasts and waters.
Distilled in pot still, it has a congeners content of 466.2 gr / hlpa, of which 12.2 are esters.
Fine and powerful at the same time, this pure single rum enhances the pure expression of cane juice.
Tasting Notes:
Perfumes: It expresses a refined olfactory harmony on the nose, which makes it very elegant.
Taste: it is equally delicate, but still excellent in persistence and aftertaste.
Velier Takamaka white rum, this unique rum should be tasted neat, or on the rocks, to be transported to a beautiful beach in the Seychelles.
