This Hampden rum is bottled by Masam, the surviving company of Silvano's wife, is a 13-year-old single barrel rum from Jamaica.
Maryse's husband is considered by many to be a visionary, his selections are among the best whiskeys and rums in the world.
Many of his bottles now occupy well-deserved slots in the pantheon of whiskey greats.
Since his death in 2017, the tradition has been lovingly continued by Masam, the bottling company run by his wife, Maryse Accorsi Samaroli.
After handing over the reigns of the Samaroli company to Antonio Bleve in 2008, the heirs began bottling barrels from their personal collections under this Masam brand.
These are the latest rum barrels selected and purchased directly from the Hampden distillery, aged in Scotland.
