The Macallan is launching a new series of limited editions, the Harmony range.

The Harmony collection should be the series that replaces the Limited editions, the Pantone numbered and colored releases.

The Harmony Macallan will be dedicated to the study of particular harmonic combinations between selected Macallan whiskey barrels and gastronomic elements that arouse sensory notes.

The Harmony collection opens with Macallan Rich Cacao.

A single malt with strong chocolate aromas. The inspiration came to whiskeymaker Polly Logan during a visit to Casa Cacao, the "cousin" chocolatier in Girona of the three-star restaurant El Celler de Can Roca.

Hence the idea of ​​a whiskey that not only pairs perfectly with chocolate, but also carries its sensory notes, created in collaboration with Jordi Roca.

Thus was born the limited edition Macallan Harmony Rich Cacao, specially designed to enhance some notes of the whiskey, aged exclusively in ex sherry barrels (both American and European oak).

A modern Macallan is born, with a studied and expert use of woods, designed at the table and made with the caliber, but which perfectly manages to replicate the pleasure of cocoa without exceeding either spices, or toasted notes, or sweetness.

Macallan is consciously focusing on sustainability.

The packaging is made with cocoa fruit shells that would otherwise not be used. It is 100% recyclable.

Very few bottles released for this new limited edition Macallan Harmony Rich Cacao, the number is not declared but are now all sold out.
