Tasting Notes:
Aroma: A peaty beginning, then chocolate raisins and oatmeal focaccia, a hint of leather.
Palate: The strong influence of peat combines with the tannins of red wine. A blend of dehydrated summer fruit with a subtle pear undertone. Fresh and balanced.
Final: a little peat smoke followed by oak wood.
Whiskey Arran Quarter Cask can be paired with a good Nicaraguan cigar such as L'Aroma de Caribe Mi Amor or a balanced Eiroa Asylum.
