Rum aged 10 years brut de fut from Montebello is a traditional rum from the Guadeloupe farm.

In the Montebello distillery still follows a very traditional production method.

Sugar cane is harvested by hand on the steep mountain slopes in Petit Burg.

Harvested by hand, it is cut into long pieces which affects the squeezed liqueur and which then ferments before distillation.

The result is a traditional, old-fashioned agricultural rum.

The Rhum Montebello 10 years Vieux is very famous among purist enthusiasts of agricultural rums and among the inhabitants of the island of Guadalupe.

Its traditional style makes it unique among modern agricultural rums now sweeter and more rounded.

His is the result of a very careful and meticulous work.

Once the juice has been extracted from the sugar canes, Vieux Rhum is left to ferment for a further 48 hours.

A distillation in multiple column stills follows.

The aging of the Vieux Rhum Guadalupe 10 years takes place in barrels, which had previously contained bourbon, to then be bottled at full alcohol content of 45 degrees.

The Montebello agricultural rum is not so intense, fragrant, full-bodied, with classic green notes of agricultural rums.

Rhum Vieux della Montebello has been aged in ex bourbon oak barrels for 10 years under the tropical sun and in warm containers that amplify aging.

Round and rich, it perfectly reflects the fruity style of Guadalupe but, without sacrificing intensity, it also has a clean and fine texture.

Rhum Vieux Montebello 10 years is really a rarity, an excellent Rhum, very good.

Aromas: The nose is expressed with an intense, explosive and harmonious bouquet, marked in particular by estotic fruity notes, vanilla and spices.

Taste: On the palate it is fine, balanced, enveloping, moderately soft, with hints of honey and raisins.
