It is an AOC-certified agricultural rum from Martinique aged up to 3 years in white oak barrels and in ex-bourbon barrels for years under the tropical sun.
This HSE VO rum is produced in the Distillerie du Simon, Le Francois, Martinique following the strict specifications for the production of agricultural rums from Martinique.
Distilled from the juice of locally grown sugar cane, it keeps all the aromas and sweetness intact.
The sugar cane juice is fermented for 48 hours and then distilled in a column alembic.
It is a blend of agricultural rums from Martinique, which are aged on site for a minimum of 3 years.
The intensity of the aromas, the strength of 42 alcoholic degrees makes it an excellent rum to be tasted alone or mixed.
