The Glenfarclas distillery was born in the thirties in the verdant Scottish valley of Speyside, whose property was purchased in 1865 by John Grant and handed down to his descendants making it, to this day, an independent reality much loved by whiskey fans.
Of Glenfarclas the master Murray's in his famous Whiskey Bible writes: "Glenfarclas is one of the best distilled malts in the highlands, you cannot die before having tasted a Glenfarclas whiskey at least once!"
Glenfarclas comes from Gaelic and translated means "valley of green grass".
A great whiskey the Glenfarclas 105, complex and flowing, bottled in cask strength.
The aroma is complex and the wood is the first to strike us, immediately after are the notes of apples and pears with the sweetness of dark caramel to surprise our nose.
