Black Tot master blender reserve is a rum made with part of the Black toto 0th Anniversary rum and rums aged 9 to 24 years from Guyana, Barbados, Trinidad, Jamaica and Australia, and a part of the original blend of rums from the British Royal Navy.

Black Tot is a rum that was distributed to British Royal Navy sailors and officers until July 31, 1970, when this age-old custom was declared abolished by the British Navy.

Black Tot rum Master blender reserve is a blend composed of 9 rums, mixed to recreate the style of the old Royal Navy Rums, enhance the aromas of the previous edition the Black tot 50th anniversary through an aging in ex sherry cask.

This blend also includes a percentage of the original Navy Blend still preserved today in the clay flagons, as well as a part of rum from two legendary distilleries now closed such as Caroni (Trinidad) and Uitvlugt / Port Mourant (Guyana).

The Black Tot Blending team has decided to include a small part of this very rare Roya Navy Blend to characterize the taste of the Master Blender version.

This special limited edition Black Tot rum Master Blender Reserve release gave birth to less than 5000 bottles.
