The Spey "Fumare" which derives from Latin (Fumare means smoky / smoked) is a tribute to Lord Byron, a lover of the Latin language, and who is said to have given a bottle of Spey to none other than King George III.
Unknown to the general public yet single malt peated SPEY, a favorite of British royalty for two hundred years, is the only single malt whiskey designated by the UK's six royal palaces.

Spey "Smoking" Peated 12 Year Old is a balanced fruity whiskey with hints of pear, berry and peat.
Tasting Notes:
Color: Straw yellow.
Aroma: The nose welcomes us with beautiful notes of earth peat integrated with notes of vanilla, spicy wood, a hint of honey and peach.
Taste: On the palate it is slightly spicy with spicy notes on the shields (ginger) then fruity notes of apple and toasted dried fruit with hints of vanilla and peat smoke.
Final: Of medium persistence, slightly dry with notes of cereals, vanilla and honey with peat smoke at the end.
