Macallan The Gold 12 Years Old Double Cask is a single malt Scotch whiskey aged for at least 12 years in a combination of specialty casks.

At the discretion of the Master Distillers, European ex-sherry and American barrels are used, also ex-sherry, no ex-bourbon, aging is particular, designed to enhance the aromas.

The Single Malt Scotch Whiskey Macallan The Gold 12 Years Old Double Cask is distilled in the new distillery and after 12 years of aging it is fully bottled.

The Single Malt Scotch Whiskey Macallan is delicious when drunk pure, and if diluted with water it is characterized by hints of green apple, kiwi, pineapple, vanilla and eucalyptus, and is characterized by refreshing flavors of strawberry, grapefruit, blueberry and white chocolate.

Tasting Notes:

Color: Pale golden yellow.

Aroma: Delicate notes of Sherry arrive on the nose, with sweet aromas of toffee and banana. There are hints of lemon and citrus.

Taste: Macallan The gold 12 Years Old Double Cask is first spicy and spicy, then lets emerge notes of pear, pineapple, citrus, milk chocolate.
