Indeed, in the luxurious box it is equipped with a glass pipette to extract the rum from the three-liter bottle.

Luca Gargano declares:

"Today Hampden opens a new frontier for all rum lovers. These official bottlings mark a historic moment for the world of spirits, comparable to the arrival of Islay's Single Malts on the market in the 1980s"

Hampden, renowned among Jamaican rums for producing spirits with an intense flavor, which are the quintessence of rum in Europe and other parts of the world.

Founded in 1753 in Trelawny, Hampden Estate is one of the oldest sugar cane processing companies in Jamaica and its products are characterized precisely by the total respect for the island's tradition.

The mark LROK (Light Rum Owen Kelly) has been produced by Hampden since 1952.

Hampden still uses only copper stills today, so all rums are produced with 100% pot-still distillation and, as in the best Jamaican tradition, fermentation takes place for quite a long time with natural yeasts.

This guarantees the development of intense and unique aromas.

The Hampden Estate produces high quality typically Jamaican rums and supplies rums to Luca Gargano for Habitation Velier, among other things.

Hampden LROK The Younger was distilled in 2018 and bottled in 2022.

Produced in Trelawny, Jamaica, it is known for its intense taste and high alcohol content.

LROK (Light Rum Owen Kelly) is the most balanced brand in terms of non-alcoholic particles (congeners). We are talking about 300-400 gr / hlaap of ester.

To produce it, ancient techniques are used, handed down from generation to generation.

Use of own spring water in the different production phases.

Prolonged fermentation and with the use of wild yeasts.

Distillation exclusively in pot still.

The production follows techniques in use since the 18th century which determine a high value of esters and which give the product a unique aromatic profile.

Tropical aging in ex bourbon barrels; they are aged 4 years in Jamaica, which is equivalent to an aging of about 15 years in Europe.

Natural color and no added sugar in the rum.

Tasting Notes:

Aromas: delicate flavors of mango and banana, complemented by notes of paint and pepper.

Taste: sweet and fruity flavors of fresh pineapple juice and orange peel.

Final: Long on sugar cane juice and cloves.

You can combine the Hampden LROK The Younger Pure single Jamaica rum with an excellent robust Nicaraguan Eiroa Salud Amor or with a Mastro Tornabuoni Shortened Reserve.
