New version of the classic Macallan whiskey 15 y.o. double cask.

Macallan 15 Years Old Double Cask is a single malt Scotch whiskey aged for at least 15 years in a combination of casks.

At the discretion of the Master Distillers, European ex-sherry and American ex-sherry casks are used, no ex-bourbon, the aging is totally sherry.

The Single Malt Scotch Whiskey Macallan 15 Years Old Double Cask is distilled in the new distillery and after 15 years of aging it is bottled at full strength.

The Single Malt Scotch Whiskey Macallan is delicious if drunk pure, and if diluted with water it is characterized by hints of green apple, kiwi, pineapple, vanilla and eucalyptus, and is distinguished by refreshing flavors of strawberry, grapefruit, blueberry and white chocolate.

Tasting notes:

Color: Pale golden yellow.

Aroma: Delicate notes of Sherry arrive on the nose, with sweet aromas of toffee and banana. There are hints of lemon and citrus.

Flavour: Macallan 15 Years Old Double Cask is first tangy and spicy, then lets emerge notes of pear, pineapple, citrus, milk chocolate.

Macallan 15 Years Old Double Cask is to be combined with a wonderful Cohiba Magicos cigar or a P2 partagas.
