A tobacco pipe produced by Peterson for Christmas 2022 with an exclusive finish.
Made of dark rusticated briar, it has an XL02 shape called Bent Apple with a copper spigot that stands out and makes this pipe unique.
The Peterson XL02 shape combines the classic Apple shape with a well-proportioned, short curved shank ending in the long fishtail mouthpiece.
The Irishman Charles Peterson began producing briar pipes and in 1890 discovered the famous reservoir system.
It is a tank in the torch under the head which has the task of keeping the tobacco dry.
All the humidity – this is the goal – is channeled into the tank.
Peterson's pipes, made personally and exclusively by hand, are the result of a long and patient process at the headquarters in the south of Dublin, where one of the oldest pipe factories in the world is located: the Peterson of Dublin.
Characteristic of Peterson's pipes is the classic, harmonious shape, elegance and practicality.
They are carved in the most selected and precious briar.
Note in this model the elegance generated by the combination of the dark rusticated briar and the copper ring which enhances the whole body of the pipe.
The rustication of the Peterson pipe line is exclusive and very elegant, completely handmade.
Each Peterson of Dublin pipe is a unique and unrepeatable piece and the photos you see portray this exclusive pipe, once purchased, it will be removed from the catalogue.
If you need more detailed photos, we will be happy to send them to you.
