The line of Peterson Ashford Army tobacco pipes with silver ferrule is the best known and most representative line in the Peterson of Doublin production.
Peterson Army semi-curved rhodesian shape dark briar finish with metal ferrule is always elegant and fashionable, an immortal pipe, a symbol.
The semi-curved Rhodesian shape with its square stem, called 80S, is well balanced, conveys dynamism, elegance and pragmatism.
The Irishman Charles Peterson began producing briar pipes and in 1890 discovered the famous reservoir system.
It is a tank in the torch under the head which has the task of keeping the tobacco dry.
All the humidity – this is the goal – is channeled into the tank.
Peterson's pipes, made personally and exclusively by hand, are the result of a long and patient process at the headquarters in the south of Dublin, where one of the oldest pipe factories in the world is located: the Peterson of Dublin.
Characteristic of Peterson Army pipes is the classic, harmonious shape, elegance and practicality.
Peterson Army pipes are carved in the most selected and precious briar and embellished with a metal ferrule.
Note the sporty and gritty design in this model, it is no coincidence that the shape derives from the Buldog.
The briar is enhanced by an 11 mm metal ferrule engraved with the Peterson trademarks.
The shape is a classic Rhodesian, of medium size, very nice to hold in the hand.
The Rhodesian is a gritty pipe with its curved shank and flared head.
The mouthpiece can contain the 9mm filter to break down the harmful substances of tobacco.
Each Peterson of Dublin pipe is a unique and unrepeatable piece and the photos you see portray this exclusive pipe, once purchased, it will be removed from the catalogue.
