Nonino grappa picolit cru monovitigno, the legendary grappa, the most famous grappa in Italy.

From the precious raw material composed of selected pomace of Picolit Cru Vigna Nonino del Friuli grapes. The characteristic that makes this grappa particular and renowned lies precisely in the use of this autochthonous vine, which produces a bunch of very rare spargola grapes.

In 1973, the Nonino family produced the first Grappa Monovitigno from the pomace of Picolit grapes.

The pomace is obtained by distilling the solid components of the grape.

The family enjoyed great success with the brandy and soon other distillers around the world learned of the new product.

Grappa is not only the oldest brandy in northern Italy, but also the one with the longest tradition.

The grappas of the Nonino family reflect the company's history and long tradition.

Grappa Nonino Il Leggendario Cru Monovitigno Picolit is produced with Picolit grape pomace.

It is distilled in a copper steam still.

Grappa Nonino Picolit Gran Riserva aged 10 years in ex-sauternes barriques is the top of the production of grappas and distillates in the world.

The Gran Riserva Grappa Nonino Cru Monovitigno Picolit aged 10 years in ex-Sauternes barriques was aged under seal and permanent surveillance by the Customs and Monopolies Agency in ex-Sauternes Barriques n. 2899, 2901, 2902 and 2904.

The aging dates of the Nonino Riserva Grappa can be consulted on the Nonino registers endorsed by the Customs and Monopolies Agency. Natural aging without the addition of caramel and/or colourings.

Very limited and numbered production to celebrate 125 years of Nonino, 1897-2022. 1139 ampoules in total. Cruet in crystal glass with 24-karat gold screen printing, cork and metal stopper with 24-karat gold bath

It should be served at room temperature in a large balloon-type glass.

Before tasting, it must rest for a few minutes in the glass: by oxygenating the aromas are enhanced, the nose-palate harmony is completed.

Tasting Notes:

Rare, elegant and precious. The wood where the Sauternes wine rested harmonizes with the scents of the Picolit grape which smell of honey, spices, chocolate and candied fruit, leaving a feeling of purity; in the finish also very savory, seductive.
