Tasting notes
Aroma: Intense oak notes followed by dried fruit notes with cherries, marzipan and a hint of peat.
Palate: Kilkerran Single Malt 8 years Bourbon cask strength is initially fruity with citrus notes. Subsequently hints of vanilla, toffee, caramel and digestive biscuits.
Finish: Velvety and smooth with lemon meringue covered in honey. Oily and salty as you would expect from a Campbeltown malt.
Whiskey Kilkerran Single Malt 8 years Bourbon cask strength can be combined with a good Nicaraguan cigar such as L'Aroma de Caribe Mi Amor or a balanced Davidoff Zino Nicaragua.
