The Army line combines the classic shapes of Pipe Peterson with a black sandblasted finish and a polished metal ferrule with the classic K & P punches.
Here we have the Peterson Army XL02 corresponding to the curved Apple shape with a sturdy stem, streamlined by the metal ferrule.
A pipe with a large and capacious brazier, well sized, balanced and comfortable to use.
This Peterson Army XL02 pipe is also equipped with the reservoir system.
The Irishman Charles Peterson began producing briar pipes and in 1890 discovered the famous reservoir system.
It is a tank in the torch under the head which has the task of keeping the tobacco dry.
All the humidity – this is the goal – is channeled into the tank.
Peterson's pipes, made personally and exclusively by hand, are the result of a long and patient process at the headquarters in the south of Dublin, where one of the oldest pipe factories in the world is located: the Peterson of Dublin.
Characteristic of Peterson's pipes is the classic, harmonious shape, elegance and practicality.
They are carved in the most selected and precious briar.
Note in this model the sandblasting of the briar that surrounds the entire body of the pipe characterized by this elegant black color.
