The Peterson Sherlock Holmes line combines a number of the most unique shapes with dark oak finishes, along with palatal vulcanite mouthpieces.
The palatal mouthpiece is equipped with a 9 mm filter but can mount the reducer.
Made of dark briar, it has a Bent Bulldog shape called Squire with a square torch and 925 silver ferrule that stands out and makes this pipe unique.
The Peterson Squire shape combines the iconic very curved Bulldog shape with a sturdy stem embellished with the large Peterson Dublin branded ferrule and the Sherlock Holmes symbol.
The Irishman Charles Peterson began producing briar pipes and in 1890 discovered the famous reservoir system.
It is a tank in the torch under the head which has the task of keeping the tobacco dry.
All the humidity – this is the goal – is channeled into the tank.
Peterson's pipes, made personally and exclusively by hand, are the result of a long and patient process at the headquarters in the south of Dublin, where one of the oldest pipe factories in the world is located: the Peterson of Dublin.
Characteristic of Peterson's pipes is the classic, harmonious shape, elegance and practicality.
They are carved in the most selected and precious briar.
Note in this model the elegance generated by the combination of the dark briar and the silver ferrule which enhances the whole body of the pipe.
The external finish may vary slightly from the image as each Peterson briar pipe is a unique piece.
The variations are intended only in the nuances of the briar, the measurements and the shape do not vary.
