Dos Armadillos Tequila reposado Vol.40% Cl.70

Dos Armadillos reposado is a super premium tequila made only with selected blue agave from the small town of Amatitan, located in the heart of the state of Jalisco in Mexico.

It is subjected to a special and accurate production process that makes it unique, starting with the harvest and maturation of the agave up to its double distillation.

Once the agave has been distilled, the tequila rests for 4 months in steel vats and is subsequently left to rest in oak barrels for 8 months, acquiring the classic straw colour.

Each bottle of Dos Armadillos Reposado Tequila is a true work of art, individually sculpted and hand painted, and without equal.

All bottles (which feature two chasing armadillos and are decorated with braided ropes on the non-slip neck) are handcrafted by Mexican artisans.

Armadillo legend says that during the second sun, an armadillo wore a handful of clay on its armor.

Teotl, the supreme god, took the clay in his hands, brought it close to the sun, shaped man and gave him life.

He then took the armadillo's armor and placed it on the man's hands for protection.

Since then, the armadillo has been recognized as the protector of Mexico's ancient cultures.

This legend gives rise to tequila today that was shaped by a story conceived before gods, before kings.

Tasting notes:

Colour: straw yellow.

Perfumes: The nose has a fruity aroma, in which the aromas of pineapple, pear and banana stand out. The 8-month aging in cask also adds vanilla and caramelized notes.

Taste: On the palate it is velvety and decisive with a warm taste with hints of oak, cinnamon and toasted hazelnuts.

It concludes in a clean finish characterized by notes of white nougat with toasted hazelnuts.
