The Macallan 18-Year-Old Sherry Oak Cask is a single malt Scotch whisky aged for 18 years in seasoned casks previously used for Jerez sherry.

The seasoned ex-sherry casks are carefully selected to enhance the Macallan single malt's intense aromas.

The 18-Year-Old is part of the Sherry Oak Cask series, the result of years of painstaking research by Macallan into the finest woods for ageing whisky.

The Macallan 18-Year-Old Sherry Oak Cask Single Malt Scotch Whisky is distilled at the new distillery and is bottled at full strength after 18 years of aging.

The Macallan Single Malt Scotch Whisky is delicious when drunk neat, and when diluted with water, it reveals lingering notes of raisins, vanilla, chocolate-covered citrus, and honey, complemented by subtle notes of tobacco, red fruit, and candied cherries. A delight!

Tasting Notes:

Color: Light mahogany.

Aroma: Delicate notes of sherry appear on the nose, with sweet aromas of vanilla, honey, and cinnamon. Hints of lemon and dried citrus are present.

Taste: The Macallan 18 Years Old Sherry Cask is initially slightly spicy and spicy, with tobacco, then reveals notes of pear, dried grapes, citrus, dark chocolate, and candied cherries.

The Macallan 18 Years Old is best paired with a wonderful cigar, while for slow smokers, we recommend pairing it with a Danish mixture tobacco blend.
