Carlos I is a Brandy de Jerez, that is an elegant distillate produced from a very particular raw material, the wine of Jerez, the southern border of Spain and aged with the solera method in ex sherry barrels.
The Carlos I brandy is produced by the traditional Spanish criaderas and sills, famous and appreciated all over the world.
Aging with the solera method takes place in ex sherry oak barrels for at least 5 years.
The peculiarity of Jerez Brandies like this Charles I lies in the original maturation method, the "Solera" which allows the production of distillates endowed with great complexity, the result of a perpetual mixing of dozens of different vintages.
From intense aromas with light notes of dried fruit and wood.
Despite being composed of a mixture of the three types of distillates (column, alembic and column brandy), column distillates with intense aromas predominate.
Tasting notes:
Color: Intense mahogany red.
Perfumes: the nose offers notes of oak wood, sandalwood, spicy tones of cinnamon and black pepper, but also cloves, dried figs and, just mentioned, toasted hazelnuts and cocoa.
Taste: Soft and enveloping on the palate, it shows a great structure and a long persistence of dried figs, toasted almonds and raisins.
