Lagg Kilmory ex-bourbon cask is the first continuous release from this new distillery.

We are pleased to present and offer you for sale the first of the two continuous versions of highly peated Lagg Single Malt, 50PPM.

Lagg is an exciting new distillery on the Isle of Arran is extremely excited to be taking this big step forward into the adventure of high quality, highly peated whisky.

The Heavily Lagg Kilmory ex-bourbon cask single malt is the result of the last few years of care and attention that distillery director Graham Omand and his team have poured into making the Lagg Single Malt the robust, complex "West Coast Isle of Arran" style and earthy.

The first batch of Lagg single malt whiskey from the Isle of Arran is matured in ex-bourbon casks, distilled using Concerto barley peated to a smoky level of 50ppm.

The aging is not indicated, but it is certainly more than 3 years, given the softness of the product.

The release is free from cold filtration and is bottled with a natural color and bottled at 46% ABV.

Lagg Kilmory ex-bourbon cask is a whiskey for specialists passionate about highly peated single malts, to be enjoyed accompanied by excellent chocolate.

With its elegant and contemporary packaging, the Lang Kilmory single malt will be a welcome gift for any passionate collector of peated Scotch whiskies.

Tasting Notes:

Color: Straw yellow.

Perfumes: we are greeted by a nice, moist and intense peat smoke, we have notes of lemon peel, heather honey, black pepper and vanilla.

Taste: explosive! We have notes of peat smoke, then vanilla, apple, apricot and black pepper with hints of toasted cereals.

Finish: Good length with a nice lingering smoke with notes of lemon, grilled pineapple, vanilla bean and salted caramel with a light touch of honey.
