Sabrage Champagne or how to open the bottle of champagne with the sabre, as Napoleonic officers used to do by detaching the neck with a sharp blow.

Made entirely in Italy, by Due Cigni Coltellerie, there are many imitations but the attention to detail and the quality of the steel are very far from the original model.

Legend has it that in Napoleonic France, immediately after the French Revolution, the saber was the weapon of choice for the army's light cavalry, the hussars.

It seems that during one of these celebrations Napoleon himself said Champagne! In victory there is merit; in defeat a necessity!!
