The 'Japanese Yuzu' Gin from the production company Ukiyo Spirits is configured as a distillate with an irresistible fresh and citrus taste produced in Kagoshima, on the southern tip of the largest Japanese island, in the shadow of the active volcano Sakurajima.

The fundamental ingredient of this gin is yuzu, a typical Japanese citrus fruit with a lemon-like appearance which is characterized by its strong aroma and lower acidity.

The shochu base is then re-distilled with other ingredients including botanicals and citrus from the region and juniper. Subsequently, the distillate is infused with yuzu and bottled after a maceration period of variable duration.
