Flora Antillarum is an exclusive line of Caribbean rums selected and blended by Luca Gargano, each cuvée created is dedicated to a large distillery.
Luca Gargano has therefore selected special releases of rums from all over the Caribbean.
Exceptional rums, small treasures, aged for a long time which will be bottled in a limited edition called Flora Antillarum rum.
With Flora Antillarum Bologne 2014, Luca Gargano deepens his knowledge of agricultural rum from Guadeloupe, experimenting with a mix of 3 barrels distilled in the historic Creole column of the Bologne Distillery.
The Bologne distillery is famous for its structured, full-bodied agricultural rums with intense aromas.
The selected barrels are:
N.322 distilled in 2013 and aged in new oak barrels.
N.252 distilled in May 2014 and aged in ex cognac barrels.
N.282 distilled in November 2014 and aged in ex cognac barrels.
The three barrels were aged in the distillery, under the Guadeloupe sun and subsequently blended and bottled at full strength.
Only 1000 bottles of the Flora Antillarum Bologne 2014 agricultural rum were produced.
Luca Gargano wanted to pay homage to the flora that characterizes the Antilles and asked to create labels with naturalistic drawings of the plants that characterize the islands.
Sweet and dry, it is a great distilled rum from Guadeloupe, a return to the glories of a great distillery.
A bottle twice a work of art, a spectacular rum, and a wonderful label.
Agricultural rum Flora Antillarum Bologne 2014 aged 7 is a limited edition to collect.
