J.M. Rhum Agricole Single Barrel 2001 select by Sagna Vol.40% Cl.50

A world first, the second bottling of J.M rum exclusively for the Italian importer Sagna.

The limited edition rum J.M. is born. acronym barrel 2001 selected by Sagna 22 years of aging.

We are talking about only 340 bottles of agricultural rhum coming from the selection of a single barrel from the aging warehouses of the company, founded in 1914 in Macouba in the north of Martinique.

The limited edition of this très vieux agricultural rhum comes from the selection between the barrels, made directly by Leonardo Sagna with the supervision of the Cellar Master of the company Karine Lassalle.

For this second edition, an agricultural rum was selected, distilled in 2001 and aged for 22 years in American oak barrels (quercus alba).

A tropical aging that works evolves J.M. rum. Single Barrel 2001, Karine says that the angels' share, i.e. the evaporation occurred during aging in the heat of the Caribbean, is quantified at approximately 60\70%.

J.M.'s master cellar Karine Lassalle, previously surprised us with the J.M. Multimillesimo 2002-2007-2009 but here it goes further, offering us an elegant, intriguing and engaging 22-year-old agricultural rum.

A rare edition by Rhum J.M. that after its long period of aging on the island the rum does not undergo any further dilution with water, but is bottled at a barrel strength of 40 abv (brut de fùt),
