Glenfarclas Heritage is a Speyside single malt scotch whiskey with no age statement, it was created for the Swedish and French markets.

Heritage respects the Glenfarclas tradition, with classic sherried notes and a delicate and persistent spice.

Younger brother to the young 10 year old single malt Glenfarclas, it foreshadows youth within the range, but still embodies the tradition and know-how of Glenfarclas.

Like its counterparts, this whiskey is aged in sherry casks.

A beautiful aromatic harmony and a pleasant roundness on the palate, which make it an easy-drinking whisky.

The Glenfarclas distillery was born in the 1930s in the Scottish Highlands, in the green valley of Speyside, whose property was purchased in 1865 by John Grant and handed down to his descendants, making it, to this day, an independent reality much loved by whiskey fans.

Of Glenfarclas the master Murray's in his famous Whiskey Bible writes: "Glenfarclas is one of the best malts distilled in the highlands, you cannot die before having tasted a Glenfarclas whiskey at least once!"

Glenfarclas comes from Gaelic and translated means "valley of green grass".

Tasting Notes:

Color: light gold.

Aroma: The nose is very complex, very fruity with notes of raisins, sweet malt and toffee.

Taste: The palate is slightly spicy, with notes of dark chocolate, spicy oak and creamy vanilla flavors combining on the palate.

Finish: Long-lasting, with notes of pepper, spicy oak, coffee, toasted almonds and cinnamon.
