Rum Absolutio Double maturation by Foursquare was born from a selection by Richard Seale and Luca Gargano of some rum barrels aged 15 years and forming part of the distillery's heritage.

Barbados Rum distilled in the traditional Coffey Still column and Copper Double Retort Pot Still by master blender Richard Seale.

A unique Foursquare rum with double maturation, aging in ex-bourbon for 10 years and subsequently refined in ex-Port barrels for 5 years.

The Foursquare Absolutio Double maturation rum has had a very particular 15-year aging process under the tropical sun.

15 years of intense aging.... subsequently bottled, in very few bottles, at full strength, 62%.

A highly coveted limited release because only 4800 bottles were produced.

The name Absolutio wants to underline the level reached in rum aging ability by Richard Sale and Luca Gargano's ability to select the best rums in the world.

The Rum Old Barbados Foursquare Absolutio Double maturation was born from the meeting between Luca Gargano and Richard Seale and is already considered among the best rums in the world.

Tasting Notes:

Color: very dark amber.

Perfumes: like an old demerara rum, only with more strength and less caramel and hints of chocolate, complex aromas of spices, ginger and nutmeg, and sweet notes of honey, cherry and caramel, deriving from the wood.

In a way, it's quite delicate, despite the alcoholic strength.

Two "Angel's Tears" of water dilute its power, opening it up even to less accustomed palates.

Taste: Very powerful, the sip is full, rich, structured. Long finish on notes of burnt caramel, spices and tea.

Finish: long, minty, rich, honey.
