The Fratelli della Costa are a group of importers/bottlers of products transported exclusively by sailing boats.

The company was created in 2015 by two French sailing captains: Raphaël and François Mangin.

The Rhums Frères de la Côte have been bottled since 2017 in their warehouse located in Saint-Etienne in the Loire. They sail on the Très Hombres, a 32 meter Brigantine-type sailboat, without an engine, carrying 35 tons of cargo.

Since 2010, Très Hombres has completed 12 Atlantic rotations from its home port in the Netherlands.

In 2019, a new company (La Compagnie des Frères de la Côte) was created with the aim of rehabilitating the sailing boat Zeehaen, a brig of over 45 meters with 120 tons of cargo.

The idea is to develop a fleet of cargo sailboats that offers an alternative to current transport and to restore a more human value to the transport of transatlantic goods with a trade closer to ecology than economics.

The Navigation 2022 No.1 cuvée of Vieux Dynamique agricultural rum from the La Favorite distillery is born from rums from the 2021 harvest, blended in February 2022 in 6 ex-Pineau des Charentes barrels from Tonnellerie Navarre.

It underwent dynamic aging at sea aboard the Très Hombres before being bottled in April 2023 by the Frères de la Côte in the winery of Saint-Etienne, Loire.

Four months of crossbreeding, a dynamic aging phase, followed by nine months of maturation in the brand's cellars in Saint-Etienne.

We are immediately fascinated by this rum with exotic and gourmet accents...

Few bottles produced, only 600, the Navigation 2022 No.1 rum cuvée, this delicious rum is a true rarity.
