Finally available in Italy the new couve Exploration Number 5 bottled in 2023.

For La Favorite, this is the fifth creation of a brand new innovative range called Exploration, and this edition is limited to only 2400 bottles!

Cuvée Exploration N°5 pays homage to the desire of the owner of the distillery Franck Dormoy to explore new combinations of rums.

La Favorite Exploration No. 5 rum is an agricultural amber rum from Martinique distilled in October 2021.

This brut de cask is aged for 16 months in 8 new barrels of very fragrant American oak from the Navarra manufacture.

It has benefited from aging under the tropical sun with long heating phases at high temperatures.

La Favorite is one of the last independent distilleries in Martinique with Neisson and still distills today with steam machinery from the 1800s.

The La Favorite distillery prepares the rum following the purest traditional recipes for the production of Martinique rum, that is to say in selected oak barrels, in this case produced exclusively by Tonnellerie Navarre.

It is therefore in these barrels, carefully selected for their ability to release aromas of maturation and evolution, that this La Favorite Cuvée La Favorite Exploration No. 5 rum will acquire the specific aromas of American oak, generous with its unique bouquet.

The Rhum Agricole di La Couveè La Favorite Exploration No. 5 amazes and conquers at the first taste.

In addition, the beautiful transparent bottle of rum from the La Favorite distillery is embellished with a sealing wax and a progressive number.

Tasting notes:

Color: amber, pale gold.

Aromas: it has a surprising aromatic complexity and softness. Alongside the classic aromas of agricultural rum from Martinique, nuances and light hints of tobacco, leather and honey are added.

Taste: In the mouth the consistency is full-bodied, warm, an alternation of honey, vanilla and caramel, a consistency that conquers. It has a beautiful unity, without heaviness or languid sweetness.

We recommend pairing La Favorite rum with an excellent cigar and fresh fruit.
