The famous limited edition of Macallan Edition N°6 of 2020, and the last of its limited edition range "The Edition Series".

The Macallan Edition N°6 whisky is launched in 2020 and following the modernization of the Macallan production.

Aimed at a refined and evolved consumer, the Macallan Edition N°6 Whisky is born from the aging in new American Hogshead casks and European oak casks, subsequently it passes through several different ex-sherry casks.

Aged in a mix of American and European casks of first and second fill, so as to generate subtle hints of vanilla and fruit, bottled at 48.6% and dedicated to the pantone color (blue label, created in collaboration with Pantone).

Nice how the alcohol percentage increases from edition to edition reflecting the number in decimals.

Each bottle comes in a beautiful blue and gold gift box.

Tasting Notes:

The Macallan Edition N°6 2020 whisky is always enjoyable and welcome to any keen whisky drinker.

Colour: Deep gold in the glass.

Nose: Vanilla burst on the nose, a drop of honey, raisins, cinnamon, candied orange.

Palate: Notes of plum and sweet oranges, cinnamon with nutmeg and hints of oak, toffee and oats.

Long finish with fresh fruit and spice, which transform into creamy chocolate and toasted oats.
