The blackberry distillate, wild blackberries is the rarest of Capovilla's fruit distillates.

Vittorio 'Gianni' Capovilla is recognized worldwide as one of the best, if not the best, distiller in the world, in particular for his passion: fruit distillates, for rums and for grappas.

Capovilla defines his delicious fruit distillates as the noble expression of a "poor" product.

The blackberry distillate is a distillate of wild fruits, wild blackberries, obtained by double-pass distillation in small copper stills in a bain-marie.

These are excellent blackberries, of high quality, large, with a sweet flavor, an intense aroma and firm and crunchy pulp.

Vittorio Capovilla selects only the best blackberries, the ripest, full of sugars.

The blackberries must be destemmed and fermented as is done with red wines, at the end of fermentation all the must obtained is distilled in small bain-marie stills.

This blackberry distillate is colorless, clear and crystalline.

The Capovilla blackberry distillate obtained is full of aromas, perfumes and in the mouth it is an explosion of sweetness.

The product rests for at least 2 years in stainless steel tanks.

It is then bottled, diluted with spring water from Monte Grappa and brought to a strength of 41% vol. without adding sugars, aromas or anything else.

The design of the distillate bottle is beautiful... polished and sealed by hand, it brings to mind an atmosphere that smells of home.
