Distilled in 2008 from pure sugar cane juice, Madame Meuze ages for 15 years under the tropical sun.

At the origin, the choice of a certain variety of cane: Madame Meuze, nickname of a variety endemic to the island of Haiti.

From the pure juice of these carefully selected canes, this rum was produced through distillation carried out in a double column still.

It then benefited from 15 years of aging in old French and American oak barrels of cognac and bourbon. Finally, it was finished in barrels containing a peated whisky from the island of Islay.

Aromas: The fragrant and complex nose reveals refreshing aromas of candied citrus, which mix with notable toasted and peaty notes.

Taste: On the palate we find the presence of peat and citrus and we are delighted by the sudden irruption of cooked pear, highlighted by spices such as cinnamon and pepper. The finish opens with notes of fresh cane.
