The papalin project continues its research to present the most representative blended rums of the Caribbean islands, we return to visit the distilleries of Jamaica.
The Papalin Rum is one of the first creations of Luca Gargano, marketed in 2013 only in the best places specialized in Caribbean Spirit is now presented in a new composition.
The Papalin Jamaica High Ester 2024 aged 5 years is a blended rum from the most important Jamaican distilleries with 100% pot still distillation.
The native crystalline cane molasses has been fermented for a long time and subsequently distilled.

The rums selected by Luca Gragano, were mixed in barrels and then the barrels were aged 5 years under the tropical sun with a high angel share.

Papalin Jamaica5 years High Ester 2024 is a classic rum, well made, quite soft, creamy and mineral that is a pleasure to drink.
The spicy component mixed with some mineral notes that give it a good evolution is interesting and very expressive.
Tasting Notes:
Color: Papalin rum is a bright amber with bronze reflections.
Aromas: On the nose it presents a bouquet of good intensity, very clean and balanced. The aroma of long-fermented molasses is perceived.
Taste: In the mouth the attack is warm, wild, creamy. Very intense but always very balanced flavor of molasses and spices.
The finish is pleasant, with a slow evolution and with a good persistence.
