To distill the Octomore whisky version 14.1 which reaches 128.9 ppm was used only very hard and organic Scottish barley, grown by the same distillery on the island of Islay.
Octomore 14.1 was aged for 5 years in American oak barrels and bottled at a full alcohol content of 59.6%.
