  • Blended Japanese whisky aged in ex-bourbon, ex-wine and Chibidaru casks, in which the barley aromas are enhanced by the traditional floor malting process,

  • A rare bottle of Chichibu Whisky distilled in 2009

  • Despite being only 3 years old it is complex.

Exceptional bottling from the Chichibu distillery of Ichiro Akuto, the single malt The floor malted 3 years distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2012.

The Single Malt Japanese Whisky "The Floor Malted" 2009 by Chichibue, made with traditional techniques, is undoubtedly a distillate of excellent quality.

Free from any superfluous notes, it boasts a colorful aromatic dress and does not hesitate to reveal, sip after sip, all the wonders that distinguish it.

It is a blend aged in ex-bourbon, ex-wine and Chibidaru barrels, in which the barley aromas are enhanced by the traditional floor malting process, which involves spreading the wet barley on concrete floors for 4/5 days, constantly turned by hand before malting.

Distilling is the passion of Ichiro Akuto, who amazes us with exceptional single malts, true liquid gold.

Barley malt fermented on the floor to Akuto's specifications learned during a trip to Scotland.

Ichiro's single malt immediately won over enthusiasts and collectors of Japanese whisky.

This Chichibu is a Single Cask distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2012, produced from English barley of the Concerto variety and water from the Ochi River.

This whisky is produced thanks to the talent and experience of Ichiro Akuto by indirect steam heating; the washback is on a wooden floor; the mashing is manual, and the fermentation is long; the distillation takes place in a Forsyth pot still with a descending neck.

Once again the combination of the aging barrels proposed by Ichiro is innovative but, as a great master, he produces one of the best Japanese single malts in the world.

Although aged 3 years this single malt has characteristics of evolution and unexpected flavors, very complex and exceptional.

Japanese single malt whisky Chichibu The flor malted from 2009 is a limited edition now sold out, to collect, a limited edition of very rare chichibu, in 2012 only a few bottles were available, 8800 in the world.

The few bottles produced, the great demand make it a safe economic investment.

Today it is one of the most sought-after collectible whiskies and at auctions its value increases every year.
