Released annually and in limited quantities, the Peterson Pipe of the Year draws inspiration from the archives of the famous Irish brand.

Available in all three finishes - smooth, sandblasted and rusticated - these pipes are numbered and decorated with a sterling silver band.

Made of rusticated briar, it has a curved X160 Egg KS shape with a silver ring that stands out and makes this limited edition pipe from Holland unique.

The Peterson year 2023 shape combines the classic curved Egg shape of generous dimensions with a long palatal P-lip mouthpiece.

The bowl is wide and very deep, perfect for English blend or latakia tobaccos.

The massive stem contains a smoke expansion chamber called "System standard recipient".

The Irishman Charles Peterson began producing briar pipes and in 1890 discovered the famous tank system.

This is a tank in the stem under the head that has the task of keeping the tobacco dry.

All the humidity – this is the goal – is conveyed into the tank.

Peterson pipes, personally and exclusively handcrafted, are the result of a long and patient process at the headquarters in the south of Dublin, where one of the oldest pipe factories in the world is located: Peterson of Dublin.
