This Springbank Amontillado cask matured was aged for 6 years in bourbon cask and then for the next 4 years it was refined in Amontillado casks, a sweet and fragrant sherry typical of the Montilla area.

Amontillado is a variety of sherry from the Montilla region near Cordoba in Spain. It is a type of fortified wine that spread in the 18th century and is particularly prized.

Springbank Amontillado cask matured was distilled in July 2014, bottled in September 2024 at the full strength of 55 degrees in just 9900 bottles.
